An in-town Arts & Crafts residence in Historic Washington Park, shaped in harmony with Acanthus Architecture, finds its landscape as a garden in the round — a quiet constellation of interconnected outdoor rooms.

In collaboration with our client, JALA designed axial paths, framed views, and crafted terraces that unfold throughout a restrained tapestry of bluestone, brick, cast concrete, wrought iron, and copper. Layered plantings weave season into space, creating gardens that feel at once intimate and open — designed for lingering, gathering, and the gentle rhythms of daily life.
